Z REALTY GROUP BROKERS 76-UNIT MULTIFAMILY SALE IN NORTHERN NEW JERSEY

Image FORT LEE, NJ (JANUARY 20, 2015) - Z Realty Group announced the firm has successfully arranged the sale of 220 Straight Street in Paterson, New Jersey, a 76-unit apartment complex in Hudson County.  Zeynep "Z" Ekemen, Managing Principal at Z Realty Group, noted there was a lot of interest among both U.S. and foreign buyers, since few such distinctive properties come on the market in Northern New Jersey.
 

Turkey Featured As A Top Tourism Destination During The NYT Travel Show

Image NEW YORK (January 22, 2015) – The Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism today announced a new director of the Turkish Culture and Tourism Office in New York will outline the country’s tourism vision at  this week’s New York TimesTravel Show. Murat Karakus was appointed Director of the Turkish Culture and Tourism Office, New York, after more than 20 years with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey, including previous roles at the Turkish Tourism Offices in the Netherlands and Washington, D.C.

Bernard was  the keynote speaker of the Program.  Brooklyn Borough President Eric L. Adams stated that "  I am thankful today for you al  coming here to my first Interfaith Breakfast Program. This show the strength of Brooklyn.This shows our Unity.  Interfaith relations are important. We need to understand each other at the theological and social level to eliminate misconceptions and foster unity."

Representatives from  Federation of Turkish American Associations, Fatih Mosque, Eyup Sultan Mosque and Cultural Association and Azerbaijan America Society have met the Mayor Blasio at his new house during Ramadan Iftar Dinner. Ali Baba Turkish Restaurant was the food sponsor for the event and Mayor Bilasio has thanked the owner of the Restaurant Ali Riza Dogan specially.

New York City Is Not The Happiest City for Young Professionals But Still There Is A Hope

According to the career site CareerBliss.com, is based on analysis from more than 45,000 employee generated reviews between 2012 and 2013, New York City is not the among the top 10 happiest cities for young professionals. But every year thousands of young people try to find a way in their career in New York City. Some of them have made their way to the top of the corporate ladder quicker than most. Some of them are just giving up. As a young Turkish-Americans in finance industry, Gizem A. Kocak grew up in Rochester, then moved to a very small town with one stop light and a population of probably just shy of 1000 people. Now she is working hard to be successful in New York City. “I’ve always wanted to live in NYC and I knew that I wanted to be surrounded by people and enjoy a fast paced life. I learned a lot from being in a small town, and most of what I learned was about myself,” she says. His grandfather came to the U.S. in 1988 as a tailor and his entire family worked for Hickey Freeman, a manufacturer of suits for men and boys, based in Rochester, New York, and founded in 1899. Gizem is the third generation of the family and now she works for American Family Life Assurance Company, Aflac, largest provider of supplemental insurance in the United States. Her goal is making a difference in her community, making a difference in other people’s lives, and making a difference in her life. Young professional talked to TurkofAmerica.

Image The Nashville-based 25-year-old venture capital firm Heritage Group has made a strategic investment in Sharecare, an online platform that combines clinically-proven assessments, tools, and content to provide customized health management to consumers. Sharecare was founded by Jeff Arnold and Dr. Mehmet Oz. This round of funding brings Sharecare's total funding to $91 million.

The billionaire investor showed up at the soda maker’s annual meeting Wednesday to help sell the company’s message to shareholders in an on-stage interview with Chief Executive Officer Muhtar Kent. The surprise appearance drew a standing ovation as Buffett advised Kent to stay ahead of competitors by reviewing what made other businesses falter. “I like to study failure,” Buffett, 82, said at the meeting held in the Cobb Galleria Center in Atlanta. ws
