Winter is coming. IIslamic Relief USA (IRUSA) needs your help. IRUSA doesn’t want its neighbors to endure it alone. For thousands of people around the world – in countries such as Syria, Albania, Tunisia, Afghanistan, Palestine and many others – this time of year can make or break them. The team at IRUSA will be working all winter long to aid communities braving the cold.
According to UNHCR, last year “refugees in camps saw damage to their shelters from high winds and flooding while thousands outside camps, half of whom live in substandard shelters, suffered through bitterly cold winter nights.” For displaced families and communities, already vulnerable and exposed to the elements, the freezing temperatures add another battle they have to fight to survive.
Today, you can share their warmth with thousands of people facing some of the harshest conditions we’ll see all year by helping us deliver items like blankets, mattresses, winter clothes and boots, stoves and other heating devices to those who desperately need them. To help click the link
