Selen Adds to Endorsement List One Week Out from Morris County Republican Convention

(Chatham, NJ) - Seven days before the pivotal Morris County Republican Convention in Congressional District 11, Morris County Commissioner Tayfun Selen continued to add to his endorsement list with a number of key Republican elected officials including from three of the largest towns in the 11th Congressional District. Among the new endorsements Selen for Congress campaign announced today include:

• Jay Dunham, Jefferson Township Councilman
• Ryan Herd, Pequannock Councilman and former Mayor
• Mary Noon, Rockaway Township Councilwoman
• Howard Kritz, Rockaway Township Councilman
• Robert Peluso, Former Parsippany Council President and current President of Parsippany Chamber of Commerce
• Bill Chegwidden, Former Morris County Freeholder and current Mayor of Wharton

Parsippany, Rockaway Township and Jefferson Township make up approximately one-third of all Republican Primary voters in the Morris portion of Congressional District 11.

“I’m so honored to earn the support of these Republican leaders, who are helping propel our grassroots campaign as we near the Morris County Republican Committee convention next Friday. Prominent support from the largest to the smallest towns across the district show our campaign is best positioned to unite our Party, and turn our attention to defeating Mikie Sherrill this fall,” said Tayfun Selen. “We need a new direction in Washington that puts New Jersey’s families and businesses at the forefront, rather than an extreme left Biden-Pelosi-Sherrill agenda that allows runaway inflation, drives energy prices higher, and fails to secure our borders.”
