Turkish CEOs of American Firms Set to Visit US in Support of Turkish Investments
Prime Ministry Investment Support and Promotion Agency (ISPAT) is set to hold a series of meetings in the U.S. in cooperation with volunteers from the business world in an attempt to consolidate foreign media outlets and investors' perspective of Turkey's business environment. The delegation named "The Voluntary Envoys of the Business World" includes Turkey CEOs of the U.S.'s multinational companies, economists, lawyers and nongovernmental organization representatives.
Led by ISPAT President Arda Ermut, the delegation will pursue a five-day program in Washington and New York to meet U.S. media outlets, investment banks, credit rating agencies, international law firms and opinion leaders from various political think tanks. The program aims to convey the message that Turkey is a suitable country for international investments and that the failed July 15 coup attempt will not have a permanent impact on the Turkish economy.
The voluntary delegation will also share information about incentives, which the Turkish government provides for international investors, and to show that investments in the country are uninterruptedly continuing after the coup attempt. The CEOs of the U.S. multinational companies will also tell Turkey's investment opportunities using their own experiences.
