Turkish-Americans Organize A Farewell for NYPD Member

The Community Leaders thanked him for his support and leadership. Ibrahim Kurtulus who worked with Yildirim said : "Tonight we are very sad but we are also so happy and joyful that the almighty gave us a man who has been so instrumental in driving our community's continued revival. Erhan you have worked diligently to track and strengthen our community within government agencies, within social society and among many other community groups to broaden our communities outreach.
As an anchor of our community, you Erhan Yildirim have listened, heard and responded to the voices of people in need in our community and out side our community – you’ve helped create and support new programs, thus helping individuals at all levels and have embraced their challenges to make sure our new home of America was made great.

Like me many owes much gratitude to you as we honor such an outstanding individual who has given so much to our community and to America. Because of your steadfast support and soft touch our community is much stronger. Thank you for all that you have done do to make our community such a dynamic and incredible community."
In addition, Turkish Consul General Ertan Yalcin has organized a small farewell program at the Consulate. Consul General Yalcin thanked Yildirim for his coordination with NYPD.
