Chobani Named One of the Most innovative Companies in the World

Chobani was also ranked No. 1 on Fast Company's most innovative lists in the food and social good categories. It was recognized in the latter category for CEO and founder Hamdi Ulukaya's efforts to employ refugees in the company's Chenango County and Twin Falls, Idaho, factories. Ulukaya, who immigrated to the U.S. from Turkey and founded Chobani in 2005, has been targeted with threats and racist attacks for supporting immigrants.
The company was the 40th most innovative company on Fast Company's 2012 list. (Andrew H. Roiter, Albany Business Review)
