Cigar World Icon Murat Özgener Highlights CEO Club Event in New York

At its regular April meeting, the CEO Club of New York hosted the renowned figure of the cigar world, Murat Özgener, owner of Özgener Family Cigars. Based in Nashville, TN, Özgener Family Cigars had sold one of its well-known cigar brands in the US, CAO International, to Scandinavian Tobaccoational in 2007. Founded by Cano Özgener with his children Murat and Aylin, CAO quickly became one of the well-known cigar brands in the US. Murat Özgener, who returned to the cigar world last year with the Bosphorus brand, met with cigar enthusiasts at the event held at Lefkes restaurant.
At the meeting, entry plaques were presented to new members of the CEO Club. The event, organized by co-founders Jimmy Cüneyt Gürkan and Cemil Özyurt.
Muhammed Üzüm, the owner of Grape Law Law firm, became a new member of the CEO Club, and special accessories prepared by Eli Adams Jewelry and Bosphorus cigar boxes were given as gifts to the guests through a draw.
Derya Taşkın, who participated in the race as an Assemble member in Passaic County, New Jersey, also gave a brief speech at the meeting. Gürkan emphasized that the events will continue in the coming months with surprise guests.
Around 40 guests attended the meeting, including Georgia Dumas, owner of Lefkes, Ian Soares, active in the cigar sector in Europe, businesswoman Jabeen Ahmed, Demit Kastmati, Zafer Acar, General Manager of ATIS Group USA, İsmail Alptekin, CEO of Puff City, and Fatih Akarsu, CEO of AIG Builders.
