Armenian businessman Plan to Build A Hotel in Van

Chairman of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Van Zahir Qandashoglu told Turkish “Dunya” paper that the number of people to visit Holy Cross of Van on 19 September has grown. The chairman of the chamber told the paper that after that event an Armenian businessman plans to invest about $50 million to build five-star hotel in Van.

American Chambers of Commerce Visit Turkey

ImageA large group of American politicians and chamber presidents is to visit several major Turkish cities between September 19-26 Turkish – American Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TACCI) is joining its peers in Turkey and co-organizing series of events with the initial leadership of Turkish – American Businessmen Association (TABA/AmCham). More than 40 business leaders and politicians will be exclusively traveling from different parts of USA to attend this trip, including TACCI President Celal Secilmis. The trip will take place between September 19 - 26.

İzmir has an importance in Turkish-American relations as well. The first American company that made investment in Turkey was the David&Orfey Company, which was established in 1811. Also the first American Consulate was established in İzmir.

Aram Gulyuz is a scenarist, director, and producer who has created many TV serials, movies and TV programs that have been watched by millions in Turkey. His first movie was Sensiz Yıllar (Years without You), which he shot in 1960. So far Gulyuz has directed 154 films, produced 42 others and written 25 scenarios.
