By DEEPTI HAJELA Associated Press\ NEW YORK January 27, 2013 (AP) Relatives of a missing New York City woman who disappeared during a vacation to Turkey, her first trip outside the U.S., are heading to Istanbul to look for her, her brother said Sunday. Sarai Sierra's family was last in touch with her on Monday, the day she was supposed to start her journey home. The 33-year-old mother of two had been in Turkey on her own since Jan. 7.

The 8th Turkish Festival will take place in Washington, D.C. on October 3. The festival will be organized by American-Turkish Association DC and is expected to host 20,000 visitors. A total of 15,000 visitors --most of were U.S. citizens-- visited last year's festival. 
Turkish Airlines, the main sponsor of Turkey’s National Men's Basketball team and 2010 FIBA World Championship, gives its support with a TV commercial that sets a new world record with a sky-high dunk.
