Sierra Nevada Corporation Opens Huntsville, Alabama Office, Expands Key Customer Support

Three of SNC's key business areas will be located in the new office, including: Communications, Navigation, Surveillance/Air Traffic Management (CNS/ATM), Integrated Mission Systems (IMS) and Space Systems (SS). Huntsville is an epi-center for key SNC customers including NASA, the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM), the Missile Defense Agency and the Space and Missile Defense Command, and other related corporate partners.

SNC will utilize a number of local Alabama vendors to support its growing business including the United Launch Alliance in Decatur and the NASA Marshall Spaceflight Center. The office will allow SNC to better serve customers, access Huntsville's skilled workforce and be in proximity to partner companies. The SNC office will initially employ seven to 10 employees.
