American Turkish Society's 14th New York Turkish Film Festival

On Sunday, March 29, we will present “Song of My Mother”, an award-winning debut feature set among the Kurdish community in Istanbul, followed by a Q&A with director, Erol Mintas. On Friday, April 3, we will screen “Impeccables”, the winner of Best Film and Best Director at Antalya International Film Festival, Best Foreign Film at Mexico International Film Festival and Best Film at Romania International Film Festival followed by a Q&A with Ramin Matin to discuss his powerful second feature film. On closing night, Saturday, April 4, we will screen “Whisper If I Forget”, the latest film from Cagan Irmak, one of Turkey’s most beloved and popular directors. The screening will be followed by a Q&A session with Mehmet Gunsur, the lead actor of the film.
