Since 2006, Aydın Şenkut’s Felicis has invested in over 100 companies, 47 of which have been acquired by industry leaders such as Apple, AT&T, Disney, eBay, Facebook, Google, Groupon, Intuit, Microsoft and Twitter. When Google was founded in 1998, Aydın Şenkut was hired as the first international face of the company. Şenkut joined Google in 1999 as its first Product Manager to launch Google’s first 10 international sites, its first online search licensing products and its first Safe Search. He then became the first International Sales Manager at Google, responsible for world-wide licensing deals.

The private equity giant TPG is in advanced talks to invest in Chobani, the fast-growing yogurt maker in upstate New York, two people briefed on the matter said on Thursday. Chobani was in discussions earlier this month with six potential investors, as it sought capital to help it grow internationally, a person with knowledge of the talks said at the time. Among other options, the company was considering selling a stake of 15 percent or less at a valuation of $5 billion.
NEW YORK - An investment fund is taking issue with Coca-Cola's pay proposal for management, saying it represents a "raw deal" for shareholders in light of the beverage maker's slowing growth. In a letter to Coca-Cola board members, Wintergreen Advisers CEO David Winters noted that Coca-Cola's equity plan would transfer roughly $13 billion to management over the next four years. His calculation was based on the current stock price and the company's proposal to issue a split-adjusted 340 million shares to its employees.

Ankara, Turkey -- The U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) has awarded a first of its kind grant to study the technical and financial feasibility of installing a Verdant Power Kinetic Hydropower System (KHPS) downstream of the Seyhan hydropower plant, located near the city of Adana, Turkey. The $669,875 grant is the USTDA's first to explore the exportation of Marine and Hydrokinetic (MHK) power systems, which convert the energy of free-flowing water currents into electricity.

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Chobani, the Greek yogurt maker that has grown into a U.S. sensation, is looking to sell a minority stake in a deal that could value the company at around $2.5 billion, people familiar with the matter said. The company is working with Bank of America Corp as it considers selling roughly 20 percent, and is speaking to consumer companies and private equity firms to gauge their interest, the people said on Monday.
