Turkish Airlines Celebrates Third Anniversary in Washington, D.C. / Special Fares for Istanbul

Image Turkish Airlines, recently voted Europe’s Best Airline at the 2013 Skytrax Passengers Choice Awards for the third consecutive year, is celebrating the third anniversary of its Washington, D.C. gateway this week on November 6.
 

The airline serves Washingtonians as they travel to one of the airline’s 241 global destinations via Istanbul and is proud to be a supporter of the community. Most recently, the airline has sponsored the 45th Annual Meridian Ball, Cherry Blossom Kite Festival, Passport DC, Washington Kastles, Smithsonian Folklife Festival, and Turkish Cultural Heritage Month in Washington DC. Always looking to improve the passengers’ experience, the airline will also be launching their full-flat bed service in Business Class for Washington DC flights starting on March 31, 2014.
 
This week, Turkish Airlines is sponsoring the Turkish Airlines Open November 7-10 which features World No. 1 Tiger Woods. Turkish Airlines continues to expand in the United States, adding its fifth gateway in Houston in April 2013 and launching its sixth gateway in Boston in May 2014.
 
Additionally, Turkish Airlines is running a promotion now for roundtrip flights from Washington, D.C. to Istanbul. Fares are starting at $539 (including taxes) for travel from January 15, 2014 through March 31, 2014. The ticketing must be completed by December 31, 2013
