Cleveland Cavaliers Targeting Omer Asik and Tyreke Evans

Image Los Angeles: The Cleveland Cavaliers, who are expected to be one of the busiest teams in the days leading up to next week's NBA Trade Deadline, have a few players in mind as they continue to find the right deal and rumors claim that among the players that the Cavs have their eyes on are Omer Asik and Tyreke Evans. This season, Tyreke Evans contract is $10.7 million. It doesn't work. Trade exceptions cannot be combined with other players (aggregated in CBA terms). However, Asik is making $9.2 million and would fit within the Brendan Haywood trade exception.

Turkish Airlines' Success Becomes Case Study at Harvard

Image Europe's leading carrier Turkish Airlines' success has become a case study at one of the world's most prestigious collegial institutions -- Harvard Business School (HBS) on Tuesday.  The case study called "Turkish Airlines: Widen Your World" explored the company's transformation from a regional actor to a global powerhouse in the international aviation industry, and discussed its fast and profitable growth in the sector.  "Forecasts for the sector predict approximately 7 percent passenger and capacity growth in 2016. Turkish Airlines plans to achieve 21 percent capacity and 18 percent passenger growth in 2016," said the case study authored by HBS faculty member Prof. Juan Alcacer and HBS Istanbul Research Center’s Executive Director Esel Cekin.

Ahmet Bozer Joins TPF's Board

Image New York, NY (February 11, 2016) - Turkish Philanthropy Fund announces its newest Board member, Ahmet Bozer, Executive Vice President of The Coca-Cola Company. Bozer has been serving The Coca-Cola Company for more than 25 years at various positions, most recently leading all of the Companies operations outside of North America. In addition to his distinguished career in the corporate world, he is a founding member of The Coca-Cola Turkey Life Plus Foundation. Bozer sits on the Coca-Cola Company's Public Policy and Corporate Reputation Council and is a member of The Coca-Cola Foundation Board.

NASA Selects SNC's Dream Chaser' Spacecraft for Commercial Resupply Services 2 Contract

Image NASA competitively selected Sierra Nevada Corporation’s (SNC) Space Systems to receive a multi-year contract to provide cargo delivery, return and disposal services for the International Space Station (ISS). SNC received a Commercial Resupply Services 2 (CRS2) contract, to fulfill a minimum of six cargo delivery service missions to and from the ISS utilizing SNC’s Dream Chaser Cargo System. NASA’s selection of SNC for the CRS2 programwill enable spacecraft reusability and runway landings for United States’ cargo delivery and access to the ISS through 2024.
