On May 20-21, 2016, dog enthusiasts can observe of one of the world’s oldest canine breeds at the Kangal Dog Club of America’s Specialty Show in Rockport, MA. The single breed dog show will take place at the Windhover Center for the Performing Arts and feature approximately a dozen registered Turkish Kangal dogs from around the country. Following United Kennel Club (UKC) guidelines, handlers and dogs will make their way around the ring in various classes under the appraising eye of a UKC-certified judge from Belmont, MA.

The partnership will enable Sabanci University Executive MBA students to attend a two-week Executive Education leadership program at Columbia Business School in New York. The cooperation agreement between Sabanci University School of Management and Columbia Business School will enable Sabanci University Executive MBA students to attend a two-week leadership program in New York. Participants will attend lectures by Columbia Business School faculty and visit companies in the business capital of the world to gain a better understanding of the global business environment. 
A Turkish-Iranian gold trader pleaded not guilty on Wednesday to charges that he and others conspired to conduct hundreds of millions of dollars in financial transactions to help the Iranian government or other entities evade U.S. sanctions. Reza Zarrab, a dual citizen of Turkey and his native Iran, entered the plea at a hearing before Judge Richard Berman in U.S. District Court in Manhattan. He was arrested last month in Miami.
