The U.S. Census Bureau reported on five of the top counties where residents of Bergen County were most likely to have moved from and to over a one-year period between 2007 and 2011. Among Bergen residents, 24,870 persons, or 2.7 percent, lived in a different county one year earlier. Among the counties they were most likely to have come from were: Hudson, Passaic, New York (NY), Queens (NY), and Essex Counties. Among the 37,067 persons who moved away from Bergen during the course of the year, among their most common destinations were Passaic, Hudson, New York (NY), Middlesex, and Essex Counties. 
Amman, Jordan, 11 April 2013— Greater international support is needed for countries currently absorbing increasing waves of refugees fleeing Syria, including Jordan, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Administrator Helen Clark said yesterday as she wrapped up a four day visit to Jordan. The deterioration of the security and humanitarian situation in Syria has forced thousands of Syrians to flee and seek refuge in neighbouring countries, with Jordan alone currently hosting nearly half a million internationally displaced persons (IDPs) from Syria, according to news reports.
The naturalization process confers U.S. citizenship upon foreign citizens or nationals who have fulfilled the requirements established by Congress in the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA). After naturalization, foreign-born citizens enjoy nearly all of the same benefits, rights, and responsibilities that the Constitution gives to native-born U.S. citizens, including the right to vote. German cities dominate the investment prospects for Europe’s commercial real estate sector as investors continue to favour safe haven locations according to a new report. The Emerging Trends in Real Estate Europe 2013, a real estate forecast published jointly by the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) ranks 27 cities across Europe, based on respondents’ expectations for market performance in 2013.

New Yorkers may complain about paying $1,500 a month for a shoebox-sized apartment, but as it turns out, they don't have it so bad. New York is nowhere near the top of the list of least-affordable cities for moderate-income households, defined as those making 50 to 100 percent of that area's median income, according to a new study by the Center for Housing Policy and the Center for Neighborhood Technology. The groups compiled the list by calculating the share of income a middle-class household spends on transportation and housing. The study shows that top three most expensive cities for the middle class are Miami, FL; Riverside, CA and Tampa, FL, where the average middle-class household is spending more than 65 percent of their income on housing and transportation.
