Ahmet Bozer Joins TPF's Board
New York, NY (February 11, 2016) - Turkish Philanthropy Fund announces its newest Board member, Ahmet Bozer, Executive Vice President of The Coca-Cola Company. Bozer has been serving The Coca-Cola Company for more than 25 years at various positions, most recently leading all of the Companies operations outside of North America. In addition to his distinguished career in the corporate world, he is a founding member of The Coca-Cola Turkey Life Plus Foundation. Bozer sits on the Coca-Cola Company's Public Policy and Corporate Reputation Council and is a member of The Coca-Cola Foundation Board.

NASA competitively selected Sierra Nevada Corporation’s (SNC) Space Systems to receive a multi-year contract to provide cargo delivery, return and disposal services for the International Space Station (ISS). SNC received a Commercial Resupply Services 2 (CRS2) contract, to fulfill a minimum of six cargo delivery service missions to and from the ISS utilizing SNC’s Dream Chaser Cargo System. NASA’s selection of SNC for the CRS2 programwill enable spacecraft reusability and runway landings for United States’ cargo delivery and access to the ISS through 2024.
Last week, Chobani aired a cheeky new television spot that pits Simply 100, the Greek yogurt maker's new low-calorie offering, against the competition. The commercial opens with a woman lounging on a poolside chair. She reaches for a cup of Dannon Greek yogurt, reads its ingredients, and then promptly throws it into the garbage. In the background, the voice of a narrator calmly explains what's going on: "Dannon Light & Fit Greek actually uses artificial sweeteners like sucralose. Sucralose—why? That stuff has chlorine in it."

Turkish Coalition of America (TCA) 2014 annual report released. The report highlights TCA's many programs, projects, and grants in 2014. TCA Chairman Dr. Yalcin Ayasli stated on the occasion, "Since its founding in 2007, TCA has worked to make a meaningful contribution to advancing the role of civil society and strengthening relations between the United States and Turkey. 2014 was a year of important milestones for TCA. Some of the year's highlights include that the TCA Study Tour Grants and Study Abroad Scholarship programs provided the opportunity for 98 American university students to study in Turkey. The TCA Washington Summer Internship Program brought 15 young Turkish Americans to work in Washington, DC for congressional offices and non-governmental organizations.
