Yousra Osmanoğlu, the wife of Prince Dündar Al-i Osman Efendi, who is the oldest member of the Ottoman family, died at the age of 91 due to multiple organ failure in Damascus on Tuesday. According to Shahzade Orhan Osmanoğlu, the fourth-generation grandson of Sultan Abdülhamid II, Yousra died at the hospital shortly after she was hospitalized. Orhan, who resides in Istanbul, also said that she would be laid to rest in her native Damascus.

The plan has already provoked criticism from the country’s fellow NATO members and could further strain its relations with the alliance. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made the announcement during a parliamentary meeting with other members of his Justice and Development Party, more commonly known by its acronym AKP, on July 25, 2017. Turkey and Russia have been negotiating the arrangement since November 2016 and Turkish officials reported these talks were in their “final stage” in April 2017.
Western Union money transfers are coming to gas stations. According to reports, a new partnership between BP Australia and Western Union will allow consumers to send money overseas while they are at the petrol station topping off their tank. Australian consumers are already able to use Western Union’s mobile app for sending money using a credit card. The new arrangement with BP will allow customers to set up a transaction using the app and then pay in cash at the gas stations instead of using a card.
