Sierra Nevada Corp. Space Systems bought a company that makes spaceship engine and life-support systems used in the Dream Chaser space plane it’s creating to ferry NASA and private sector astronauts into orbit. The Louisville company reached agreement to make Orbital Technologies Corp., of Madison, Wisconsin, a wholly-owned subsidiary, the companies announced Thursday. Terms were not disclosed. Sierra Nevada Corp. Space Systems is a division of Sparks, Nevada-based Sierra Nevada Corp., a privately-held defense and aerospace company.

SALT LAKE CITY - Jazz centre Enes Kanter is undergoing platelet-rich plasma treatment to help with tendinitis in his right knee. The injection is designed to stimulate recovery in the 22-year-old's joints. The team says he is receiving the treatment on Tuesday and should be able to return to physical activity in two weeks. Because of the treatment, Kanter will not take part in the FIBA World Cup with the Turkish national team.
Speaking on Wednesday with Bloomberg’s ‘Street Smart’ program hosted by Trish Regan, Western Union CEO Hikmet Ersek made some interesting comments on the topic of bitcoin. Particularly, Ersek suggested that his company, a leader in money remittences, could look to adopt bitcoin if customers demand it — with a catch. It must first be regulated.
