Bango Partners with MobileAction to Boost App Monetization

Bango and MobileAction, the app store optimization and app intelligence platform, are collaborating to boost in-app payment revenues for app developers through smart campaign targeting. MobileAction’s global community of app developers can now gain a substantial competitive advantage by targeting their campaigns at the users most likely to spend in apps. Created by analyzing payment information gathered across billions of dollars of in-app purchases, Bango Audiences enable app marketing campaigns to directly target new paying users. By applying Bango Audiences, the revenue generated from user acquisition campaigns has been proven to increase by between 2x - 9x compared to targeting “vanilla” audiences that do not offer payment insight.

Halkbank Wants U.S. to Toss Case It Won’t Recognize

A lawyer for a Turkish bank accused by the U.S. of aiding an Iranian scheme to evade economic sanctions appeared in a New York courtroom for the first time on Tuesday and said the bank continued to dispute the U.S.’s legal authority over it and planned to seek dismissal of the case. The state-owned bank, known as Halkbank, has so far refused to accept a U.S. legal summons or other court papers, and hasn’t entered a plea to charges filed against it last month. The American lawyer for the bank, Andrew Hruska of King & Spalding, is seeking permission for a “special appearance” to seek dismissal of the case without the bank first having to formally accept and answer the charges.

State Department Opposes House's Sanctions on Turkey, Genocide Resolution

WASHINGTON (Tribune News Service) — The Trump administration opposes Turkey sanctions adopted by the House last week as well as a resolution condemning the Armenian genocide, arguing that the two initiatives risk further straining relations with a key NATO ally, a senior State Department official said. The administration is concerned that the sanctions — passed 403-16 in the House last week in response to the Turkey’s military offensive in northern Syria — will tie its hands and cut off options to resolve U.S. concerns about Turkey’s actions, said the official, who asked not to be identified discussing internal deliberations. The official wouldn’t say whether President Donald Trump intends to veto the bill.

(CNN) Turkey has captured the sister of slain ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi in the northern Syrian town of Azaz, according to a senior Turkish official, who shared an image of Rasmiya Awad's identity card exclusively with CNN. Not much is known about Awad, 65, but Ankara hopes her capture will lead to a wealth of intelligence about the militant group. She is currently being questioned by authorities.
