Martha Tours Istanbul and Cappadocia

Martha Stewart visits Blue Mosque in Istanbul
"Martha Stewart Show" was shot in Turkey upon initiatives by Turkish Culture and Tourism Ministry Promotion Directorate General. On five days trip, Martha Stewart tours Istanbul, with stops at the magnificent Topkapi Palace, the Spice Market, and ancient houses of worship. She explored the beauty and culture of Istanbul and shared her viewers at Marta Stewart Show on September 24th at Hallmark Channel.
She explained at her show how the Ottoman sultans lived with a tour of the magnificent Topkapi Palace; she experienced local cuisine with a visit to the city's premier Spice Market; and she learned the amazing history of the cathedral turned mosque turned museum, Hagia Sophia.

Martha explored the ancient city of Istanbul with a boat tour of the Bosphorus Strait as well. She paid a visit to the magnificent Topkapi Palace, home to the Ottoman sultans for 400 years. Martha also sampled some local flavor at Istanbul's premier food market.

A tour of the iconic Blue Mosque, the last of the great imperial mosques. Martha gets a lesson in traditional Turkish fare at the picturesque restaurant Ulus 29. On her trip, she went to Cappadocia  where she joined locals in weaving traditional carpets and learned to make manti. In Capadocia, she took a hot air balloon ride and tours Kaymakli.

Martha Stewart had gone to Istanbul in order to film her program “Martha Stewart Show” in Turkey, as a result of an initiative by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism on June 19, and her team had a tour Aegean and Cappadocia regions for her show till the end of June.
