President Erdogan: "EU Must Pay"
TURKEY'S president Recep Tayyip Erdogan launched a scathing attack against the EU during his speech at the General Assembly of the United Nations today, arguing Brussels should provide more money to help the country facing the unprecedented migrant crisis. Mr Erdogan lashed out at the European Union during his speech at the General Assembly. Speaking about the refugee crisis that sparked from the horrific civil war in Syria, the Turkish leader said the EU has not done quite enough to support the efforts made by Turkey. He said: "Turkey has welcomed four million refugees during the last years, 3.4m of which came from Syria.
