‘The Dr. Oz Show’ Library Acquired by Z Living Network

Health entertainment cable network Z Living has acquired “The Dr. Oz Show’s” library and will begin airing episodes from multiple seasons as part of its regular programming, Variety has learned. “Z Living has made record-breaking strides in original programming this year, while concurrently amping up our roster of prestigious health entertainment content from many of the industry’s top producers,” said Z Living general manager Rafe Oller. “We’re honored to have ‘Dr. Oz’ on our air, and feel the fit and draw for our audience could not be more ideal.”

TCF Rediscovers Recipe of Turkey Red

The Turkish Cultural Foundation's Cultural Heritage Preservation and Natural Dyes Laboratory succeeded in the rediscovery of Turkey Red (Türk Kırmızısı), a natural dyeing process lost for over 200 years. A color/dyeing recipe invented by dyers in 16th century Ottoman Empire, Turkey Red, sometimes referred to as Edirne (Adrianople) Red (after the western border town of Edirne in Turkey), was a highly guarded trade secret handed from master dyer to apprentice. The technique was introduced to Europe in 1746 when two master dyers from Izmir were taken to France. From there, the technique spread to England where in 19th Century Glasgow six dyeing factories dyed textiles in Turkey Red.

Turkey to Open 50 Trade Centers Worldwide

The Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM) aims to open approximately 50 trade centers around the world in the near future, said Bahadır Öztanyel, the TİM Promotion Organization Domestic and Foreign Trade Inc. CEO. Öztanyel spoke to Anadolu Agency (AA) about the commencement of the Ready-Made Clothing Sector Trade Center, which opened in New York with support from the Economy Ministry and in the coordination with TİM.

United Launch Alliance Signs Contract with Sierra Nevada Corporation to Launch Dream Chaser® Spacecraft to Deliver Cargo to International Space Station

CENTENNIAL, Colo., July 19, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC) announced that it selected United Launch Alliance's (ULA's) commercially developed Atlas V rocket to launch the first two missions of its Dream Chaser cargo system in support of NASA's Cargo Resupply Services 2 (CRS2) contract. "ULA is pleased to partner with Sierra Nevada Corporation to launch its Dream Chaser cargo system to the International Space Station in less than three years," said Gary Wentz, ULA vice president of Human and Commercial Systems. Saudi Alhokair Acquires 10 pct Stake in Turkey's Simit Sarayı

Turkey's most popular and widespread simit chain, Simit Sarayı, which turned simit into a brand in the country and opened to the world with franchises, has partnered with a Saudi firm. Having conducted partnership talks with foreign funds in recent years, Simit Sarayı has signed an agreement with Saudi Arabia-based Fawaz Alhokair Group for the sale of a 10 percent stake in the company. According to a joint statement released by the two companies, Fawaz Alhokair Group Vice Chairman and retail leader Abdul Majeed Alhokair will be appointed as a board member of Simit Sarayı.

Turkish Dep. PM Demands US ‘Immediately’ Arrest Gulen

The U.S. needs to “immediately” arrest the head of the Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETO), Deputy Prime Minister Numan Kurtulmus said Monday. Terror leader Fetullah Gulen, who martyred many and tried to overthrow democracy in Turkey last July, resides in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania as if nothing happened, Kurtulmus said at a news conference at the Presidential Palace while a Cabinet meeting was being held separately.
